The broad left fan supplies most of the visual weight, while the raised right wing prevents the figure from appearing static. Pale blue and silver surroundings intensify the limited gold range. Thin feather blades, pebbled body surfaces, smooth circular core, glass base, and gauzy cloth create separate textures. Backlighting passes through the bird, producing brighter joints and darker overlaps that clarify its construction. Interpretation and Evaluation The internal sphere makes illumination appear to originate from the creature rather than fall upon it.
