Introduction This work transforms a mint parfait into a frozen woodland. Green scoops, white spheres, crystalline trees, pointed ice, and a transparent stag occupy its layers. The vertical view leads from dessert strata into a winter habitat. Description The flared glass contains turquoise jelly, pale cream, green leaves, and clear fragments in alternating bands. Above them sit two mint scoops flecked with dark chips, several white balls, and piped white peaks. Transparent conical spires rise among branching ice trees. At the upper right, a clear antlered deer stands in profile facing left. A large pale sphere behind it suggests a moon within the forest. Analysis The vessel’s narrowing stem supports a dense vertical ascent. Horizontal food layers contrast with the trees, antlers, and spires that reach upward. Mint green, aqua, white, and icy blue form a controlled cool palette, punctuated by small living leaves. Rough ice cream, smooth spheres, fractured jelly, creamy bands, hard glass, and intricate branches create distinct textures. Backlighting makes transparent elements readable through bright rims and blue shadows. Interpretation and Evaluation The parfait presents coldness as a habitat rather than a temperature alone.
